ENSPIRE Magazine was present February 11, 2014 New York Fashion Week with new designer Angela Simmons’s ‘Angela I Am” rocking fashion show. Monster known for their various products within the tech industry worked with Angela Simmons (daughter of Run from Run DMC) to help launch her new fashion line called AngelaIAM (Angela I AM). Angela previously had her hands in the clothing industry with older sister Vanessa with their shoe brand called Pastry. The theme of the night was more of a neon effect, also she got support from fellow friends in the industry such as Bow Wow, Jermaine Dupri, Yandy Smith, Ty Tyrone (Beyonce’s stylist), her brother Diggy, Big Ang (Mob Wives), her dad and a few others. The AngelaIAM “Electric Daze” Fall 2014 collection is a plethora of vibrant colors on dresses with classic shapes and lengths. The dresses are professional knee and tea lengths, but with a modernized angular design and neon colors. The collection also provided much variety for different comfort levels. There were more conservative looks that were monochrome separates, while there was also an elaborately embellished bodysuit and graphic body conscious dresses. It also wouldn’t be a Monster hosted event if they didn’t have something to display on hand as well. They were showcasing their Diamondz headphones which are an update to their previous Diamond Tears line that released a couple years ago. The Diamondz come in Rose Gold, Blue, Smoke Gray, and White colors. The price tag on these will be a hefty $329.99 so you’re looking for some unique designed headphones then these would be right up your alley. A photo booth was also available for attendees to tweet photos and also print copies of these pics for memories. Monster ensured that there was an area for attendees to experience a demonstration of their headphones. The presentation entitled “Electric Daze” did not disappoint. With neon lights being at the center of it all, celebrities such as Russell Simmons, Zendaya Coleman, Adrienne Baillon, Yandy Smith, Big Ang, Juelz Santana, Ariane Davis, Jermaine Dupri, Diggy Simmons and Bow Wow made appearances and left the event with a Sugar Factory gift bags filled with Beautiful Textures products. In addition to being a fashion icon and bringing together a room full of supportive celebrity friends Angela Simmons has shown commitments to empowering and uplifting young people. Her increased business savvy and style has “ENSPIRED” so many that she is an ambassador for the Children’s MIracle Network. We also had a chance to speak with I Am Ron Bass before he completed a painting on the spot! He let us know that he gets his inspiration from his parents. He is truly humble and acknowledges he creativity as a special gift. The ambiance was very fun and high energy with a great crowd. The night ended with a fab performance by violinist Damien Escobar and DJ TJ spinning music that surely had you dancing away. It was the perfect collaboration of art, fashion and music, making it a great experience. [caption id="attachment_764" align="alignnone" width="329"] Ron Bass of IAmRonBass[/caption]
