( ENSPIRE Community Spotlight ) Empowering Through Celebration of Music, Culture, and Community
We celebrate events that uplift and empower communities, especially those that focus on fostering the next generation of leaders. This aligns perfectly with our mission to inspire and ignite positive change. Sharing news about a phenomenal partnership between the Culture Creators Foundation and Live Nation Urban is exciting!
The iconic Lil’ WeezyAna Fest in New Orleans is getting a fantastic upgrade this year. In collaboration with the Culture Creators Foundation, Live Nation Urban has launched Lil’ WeezyCon, a dynamic event happening alongside the festival on November 2nd, 2024.
This free event aims to empower young professionals and aspiring creatives, particularly college students and high school seniors. Lil’ WeezyCon offers a platform for thought leaders, artists, and industry giants to share their expertise through workshops and panel discussions. Attendees will gain valuable insights on topics ranging from music industry trends to creative entrepreneurship, media representation, and social impact.
The event fosters networking opportunities, allowing young professionals to connect with industry professionals and build meaningful relationships. Lil’ WeezyCon celebrates Lil Wayne’s cultural impact and illustrious career, offering a unique blend of music and education.
Diversity and inclusion are at the core of this partnership. Students from Dillard University will actively participate in producing the event alongside volunteers from other local schools. This creates a valuable learning experience for young people while ensuring a strong community connection.
“We’re thrilled to collaborate with LiveNation Urban to create Lil’ WeezyCon,” said Joi Brown, Founder and CEO of Culture Creators Foundation. “This is an incredible opportunity for our community to connect, share knowledge, and build meaningful relationships while celebrating the culture that drives us all.” (Quote from Press Release)
