Your talk show, “Wake Up With Marci,” has touched the lives of millions on television, and now you’re expanding its reach through a podcast. What inspired the transition from “Wake Up With Marci” to the Podcast, and what unique opportunities do you see in the podcast format to connect more deeply with your audience?

“Wake Up With Marci” was created from my own awakening—a journey through adversity, trauma, addiction, and ultimately, deep healing. The TV show became a platform to share hope and transformation with millions. But as my mission grew, I wanted to go even deeper, create more intimate conversations, and connect with listeners in a way that felt one-on-one. That’s what inspired the podcast.

The podcast format allows me to reach into people’s hearts and homes with stories that matter, without time limits or restrictions. Now streaming on ONNJ and through my media partnership with USA Today, the podcast gives me the space to explore not just interviews, but tools for healing—things like self-worth, gratitude, boundaries, and finding your voice. These are the conversations that change lives. And I’m honored to lead them.

How has sharing your adversity and recovery through “Chaos to Clarity” impacted your work in inspiring others, and what key message do you hope readers take away from your experience?

Writing “Chaos to Clarity: Seeing the Signs and Breaking the Cycles” was one of the most vulnerable things I’ve ever done. I opened the door to my story—childhood trauma, addiction, shame, people-pleasing—and let others see the cracks. But what I’ve learned is that it’s through those cracks that the light enters.

This book, which became an Amazon Bestseller, an International Impact Award winner, and a Book of the Year finalist, has helped women around the world realize they are not alone—and they are not broken. The cycles we repeat, the walls we build, the perfection we chase—it’s all trying to protect us from pain. But true healing begins when we get vulnerable, face what hurts, and choose to love ourselves, anyway.

The message I want every reader to walk away with is this: Healing is possible. Your story matters. And you are already enough.

What pivotal moments or insights were crucial in your recovery journey, and what advice would you offer someone just beginning to navigate the path toward sobriety and healing?

One of the most pivotal moments in my recovery came early on. I was alone, anxious, and facing a voice in my head that said, “Just have one glass of wine.” My husband was away, my children were sleeping—who would know? But I would know. And I knew I could no longer live in shame. So I used a simple but powerful tool I still teach today:

Move a muscle, change a thought.

I got up, took a breath, and chose a different path. That moment proved to me that I was stronger than the craving—and stronger than the shame.

To anyone beginning their healing journey. Be kind to yourself. You don’t have to do it all at once. You just have to do the next right thing. Surround yourself with people who can support you because the community is vital. You can’t do this alone, and you don’t have to. And remember, falling doesn’t mean failure. It means you’re human. Get back up. Again and again.

What core principles or philosophies do you use in your life and engage in candid conversations for personal growth and positive change?

At the core of everything I do is the belief that self-love is the foundation of healing. When we love and trust ourselves, we stop chasing approval, we start setting boundaries, and we begin to live in alignment with our truth. Some of the philosophies I live by and teach through my CARE Method and Chaos to Clarity program are:

  • Self-worth isn’t earned—it’s remembered.
  • Boundaries aren’t selfish—they’re sacred.
  • Gratitude is the fastest path to joy.
  • Your voice is your power—use it with confidence and care.
  • Spirituality is returning to your truth and trusting something greater.

We must prioritize ourselves so we can become the best version of who we are.
When we do that, we’re able to show up more fully for the people who matter most in our lives. We can’t pour from an empty cup. And when we move from stress, sadness, and overwhelm into joy, clarity, and love, we don’t just change ourselves, we change everything. That’s why I do this work. Because if I can heal, so can you.
