Obviously, the majority of us are under “stay at home” orders. Gyms are (rightfully) closed. But people are still looking to keep fit and healthy. With so much other uncertainty in our lives, this is something we can all personally control. So Hollywood physique expert, Eric the Trainer, decided to use his passion for health and fitness to help people continue their fitness journeys in the comfort of their own homes… for free!
Eric is holding free group zoom classes a couple of times a day, Monday – Saturday. Hundreds of people from all over are signing up. What makes Eric’s classes special is his exciting spin on typical group workout sessions. Every workout class has a different theme. Previously, Eric has hosted a Def Leppard workout where members of the band joined in, a “dress as your favorite animal” class with judges from the Los Angeles Zoo, a Star Wars-themed session on May 4th appropriately called “may the fourth be with you” and a broadway themed workout – to name a few. He has also had celebrity guests join his zoom workouts and put on performances. Some notable names include “Cobra Kai’s” Martin Kove, “Crazy Ex Girlfriend’s” Vincent Rodriguez III, “SEAL Team’s” AJ Buckley and comedian Carrot Top. Each class is unique; you never know what you’re going to get or who you’re going to see when you join Eric’s workout sessions.
Eric has kept himself pretty busy helping others during this pandemic. Along with hosting workout classes, he teamed up with Sunfare and Quest Nutrition to donate hundreds of healthy meals and snacks to hospital frontline workers. He also hosted a virtual singalong event for Mother’s Day called “Need to Feed” which raised $27,000 for Feeding America. With this money, he was able to provide 270,000 meals for frontline workers.
Home workouts have never been so exciting. So if you are looking for something to spice up your fitness journey, Eric the Trainer’s live virtual workouts are definitely worth looking into. It’s like a variety show and a workout in one!
