( ENSPIRE Community Spotlight ) UN Conference Showcases the Growth of Women’s Rights and the Obstacles Still Left Ahead

Dr. Somava Saha, chief executive officer and founder of WE in the World, and other distinguished leaders commemorated women’s progress in gender equality, poverty, and other areas over the past thirty years.
During this conference, the Beijing Declaration will be highlighted as it has impacted the advancement of women’s rights. The declaration aims to advance equality, development, and peace for all women, recognize women’s status, acknowledge women’s voices, and so much more.

Dr. Saha will offer her expertise in women’s health and intergenerational well-being. She will also highlight women’s critical yet underrated role as kin keepers, caregivers, and trailblazing community builders worldwide.
The conference will reflect on the past achievements women’s rights have achieved and analyze and observe the ongoing obstacles women still face and the new challenges that have arisen in today’s society.

This conference occurred on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at General Atlantic in New York, NY.
