Daya Yoga Studio is a brand with deep roots and a lively spirit. With multiple yoga brands to choose from across New York City, Daya Yoga Studio stands out as a hub for inspiring events and communal activities. They offer an intimate sanctuary that fosters personal growth and well-being in both of their two main locations. Recently, Daya Yoga Studio has proudly hosted multiple art shows that showcased the incredible talents of local artists and visionaries in Bushwick and Ridgewood, further enriching the community spirit.

Natalya Malarczuk, a multi-disciplinary creative, organized her first inspiring “Community Art Show” on July 5th. Known for her uplifting social media presence, she promotes spirituality, artistry, yoga, and her passion for meditation. Additionally, her most recent September art show was a celebration of inclusivity, showcasing talented gallery artists, unique vendors, and lively music, all within a welcoming, no-judgment atmosphere that made everyone feel right at home.

Since the summer, Daya Yoga Studio has hosted art events curated by Malarczuk, a key figure in the local scene and its creative direction. She aims to create relaxed community gatherings with good energy, where people can experience art and talk about it together.

The shows and events often create a relaxed, creative atmosphere. Art is on the walls while music plays softly, and people move around the room talking, laughing, or discovering new work. Artists are there to talk with visitors about their art, creating dialogue and appreciation for one another. Daya Yoga Studio art shows are less like a formal gallery and more like a warm neighborhood gathering where people come together to enjoy art and each other’s company.

Daya Yoga events emphasize collaboration with the community and offer a welcoming atmosphere to anyone who wishes to view art or submit their own work. As a result, multiple neighborhood artists or vendors have come together in these shows, including Pete’s Daughter, JMLV, Christina Madrid, Marely Howard, David Bender, Miriam Kagan, and many others.

Illustrator and mixed media artist Christina Madrid praised the experience, using the opportunity to promote her brand, “Dreamgirlweird,” a collection of whimsical prints, stickers, and more.

“Participating in community shows really motivates me to keep creating and growing,” Madrid said. “Something is inspiring about sharing work in person and seeing how people connect to it. It reminds me that art isn’t just a solitary process, it’s a conversation.”

Additionally, Madrid’s experience reflects what many participating artists say they value most about the Daya art shows — the chance to be seen and supported by neighbors. Rather than feeling like high-pressure gallery openings, these events function as intimate showcases where emerging or established creators can test new ideas, build confidence, and form meaningful connections with one another.

The next show, titled “Fostering the Divine,” will be at the Ridgewood location on January 31st. Organized by Natalya Malarczuk, the event promises a positive gathering and is open to artist submissions.

Daya Yoga Studio’s Bushwick and Ridgewood locations serve as both a space for yoga practice and a lively community hub that fosters creativity, personal growth, and connection. Additionally, its dedication to highlighting local talent and hosting meaningful events makes it a beloved sanctuary, embodying the spirit of collaboration and artistic expression that promotes creativity and personal growth. This commitment to showcasing neighborhood artists and offering enriching programming has solidified Daya Yoga Studio as a cherished anchor of the community.
