Celebrities have continued to give thanks to healthcare workers by donating masks, gloves, and other PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) to hospitals battling against the spread of the coronavirus. In order to alleviate pressure on hospital staff, who are in critical need of protective gear, celebrities are doing their part to help essential healthcare workers in Los Angeles stay safe. Due to a nationwide shortage of N95 masks and other personal protective equipment, Randy Jackson, along with his new wellness line team at Unify Health Labs, were able to secure 5,000 N95 masks and donate to the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, which is especially close to his heart.
Randy has personally known great doctors who work at CHLA, and he’s visited a number of times in the past. In fact, he has known about their great work for decades. Randy Jackson was able to utilize his resources from his business partnerships with Unify Health Labs’, as they have connections with local suppliers in China. With his donation alongside his team at Unify Health Labs, they not only donated their time but their tremendous resources, and provided aid to a hospital in immediate need.
Unify Health Labs is working with other non-profit organizations to see how else the brand might be able to help via product donations.
“CHLA is near and dear to me because our children are our future. If we’re to have a healthy future, we must have healthy children and protect the doctors, nurses, and healthcare workers who care for our kids.” – Randy Jackson
