PERFECT, written and produced by Stringz EMB and co-produced by PJ Fresh, channels the spirit of soulful balladry, and its poetic execution is beyond opulent. The animated and family-oriented music video was directed by Recokh. “PERFECT is a musical masterpiece with a blend of fast words and soulful music,” mentions Stringz. The St. Louis native and father of two opens up his heart, sharing everything that has been going on since 2020, from the ongoing pandemic to the perception of perfection people see when they look at him, not seeing that he has all the same challenges and obstacles just like the rest of us. It’s his story of finding the importance of being humble.

“The soulful music coincides perfectly with the important and possibly frustrated message that I am trying to deliver. I wanted to be as transparent as possible about my depression issues, anger and complicated relationship with my brother,” he shares. “The lyrics remind listeners always to stay humble no matter how successful they may become, and have the same feeling of comfort of confiding in a close friend and getting the weight off your chest. “Claim your win, but please stay humble,” adds Stringz.
