( ENSPIRE Music ) Mysterious New “Traumazine” Trailer Leaves Fans Speculating in Suspense

Almost a month after dropping her latest single “Pressurelicious,” Megan Thee Stallion leaves fans speculating with her newest video. What is it? A 20-second official trailer called Traumazine.
The trailer opens up with haunting piano chords. Megan Thee Stallion stands wearing a dark veil, dressed in black, and surrounded by others at a funeral. The mourning Megan walks up to place a black rose on the casket. In an instant, the visuals shift. Suddenly, we see Megan strutting in a gorgeous white dress. She walks in the rain next to sullen onlookers with black umbrellas. The trailer ends with Megan staring confidently at the camera from under her massive white floppy hat.
But what does it all mean? No one was more curious to find out than Megan Thee Stallion’s adoring fans lovingly called Thee Hotties. Looking over Megan’s recent social media content, Hotties found clues about what Traumazine could mean. In fact, Megan released her official definition of Traumazine on August 4 via her social media. Traumazine is “the chemical released in the brain when it is forced to deal with painful emotions caused by traumatic events and experiences.”
Five days later, Megan Thee Stallion posted a series of distorted black and white photos with #TRAUMAZINE in the captions. Megan shows her vulnerable side saying, “It took a lot of self reflecting to get to the point in my life where I am right now… I ain’t saying I finally figured everything out or that I’m finally at peace, bc I’m not… buttt im excited for the hotties to get a better understanding of what’s happening in my head.” Because of these little reveals, Thee Hotties highly suspect that Traumazine is the name of Megan’s highly anticipated sophomore album.
If that wasn’t enough to get fans hyped, they were excited once again when Megan started directly answering fan questions on her Twitter. From these Twitter threads, we know Megan Thee Stallion’s sophomore album will have 18 songs on it. When asked about the self-reflective nature of the upcoming album, Megan responded, “I wrote this album for myself… I wanted to start writing in a journal but I said fuck it I’ll put it in a song.” Another Hottie asked Megan how difficult creating this album has been for her. Megan let some emojis do the talking in her reply: “Yes very ? saying certain things you’ve never said out loud before is hard.”
While we don’t know for sure what’s coming next, Megan Thee Stallion’s “Traumazine” definitely hints that something big is coming soon.
