( ENSPIRE She Did That ) Barbara Clarke-Ruiz is the first Black Woman to Partner with Kohl’s

Kohl’s has partnered with experienced activewear designer, Barbara Clarke Ruiz, to create a fashion-forward extension of Tek Gear. Her new collection combined performance and streetwear styles and was made with body diversity top of her mind. She is making headlines with her bright, active-wear brand that can be worn at any time of the day. Barbara is no stranger to making her own lane of creative genius within the fashion industry and is a woman of many hats. Her latest venture/partnership is something to be supported and congratulated.

At the end of fashion week, I was invited to Kohl’s showroom in New York City to view the Tek Gear collection. I was really excited to meet Barbara because I knew there was so much more to her than this initial game-changing partnership with Kohl’s. Speaking with her, I just knew this woman was dynamic and very aware of her talents and what to do with them. It was a true pleasure and excited for you all to #BeENSPIREd by Barbara Clarke Ruiz!
