Fashion Scholarship Fund Celebrates 86th Awards Ceremony

( ENSPIRE Fashion ) Join some of the top names in fashion as they celebrate at the Fashion Scholarship Fund’s Gala

On April 3rd, 2023, the Fashion Scholarship Fund hosted their 86th Annual Gala and Awards Ceremony. With honorees like US Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, British businesswoman Emma Grede, supermodel Karlie Kloss, and Virgil Abloh’s widow, Shannon Abloh in attendance, this event was to celebrate the Class of 2023 FSF scholars. Finalists for the FSF Scholar Awards included Julian Tong from the University of Minnesota, Olivia Baba from Washington University in St. Louis; Clay Lute from LIM College; Sofia Enriquez from the University of Florida.

Karlie Kloss, the host of the event, announced multiple awards within fashion and eventually the winner of the FSF Scholar Award: Clay Lute, a student at LIM College. Lute was given the $25,000 Chairman’s Award alongside the FSF Scholar Award. To celebrate the evening, drinks from Moët Hennessy’s iconic brands including Belvedere, Volcan Tequila, Glenmorangie, Cape Mentelle, Terrazas de Los Andes, Whispering Angel, and Moët & Chandon were served.

The Fashion Scholarship Fund is a national non-profit organization committed to promote the next generation of those in the fashion and beauty industry. The FSF also provides internship and career opportunities, networking, and mentorship opportunities to scholars looking to gain knowledge and succeed in the world of fashion. Every year, the FSF awards over $1 million each year as scholarships to help students prosper and flourish in all aspects of the fashion industry.
