This past weekend, Eventnoire, a Black-owned tech app created by Jeff Osuji, focused on event discovery and community building, hosted its first-ever Curators Summit. The groundbreaking event took place on November 9th. The event brought together over 200 attendees, including event curators, influencers, and marketing professionals, for a day of knowledge-sharing, networking, and inspiration. The summit tackled the booming creator economy, currently estimated at $127.65 billion and projected to reach a staggering $258 billion by 2030. Eventnoire, built with the mission of uplifting Black communities and businesses, recognized the crucial role of creators in shaping cultural experiences.

The event boasted an impressive lineup of speakers, including media mogul Karen Civil (Media Entrepreneur & Philanthropist), music manager Peter Jideonwo (JuiceWRLD, The Kid LAROI, and Trippie Redd), Eventnoire founder Jeff Osuji, influencer Ashley Merriweather, and industry experts from prestigious organizations like the Obama Foundation and the University of Chicago. Attendees engaged in a series of panel discussions covering topics such as “Curator Content” and “Brand Sponsorships 101,” gaining valuable insights and actionable strategies. The summit also featured fireside chats offering a glimpse into their journeys navigating entrepreneurship and building resilient brands.

According to BlackEnterprise, Eventnoire “intends to uplift Black communities, strengthen Black businesses, and level the playing field for Black people in America.”
