( ENSPIRE Features ) Brooklyn’s Next Generation Performed An Illusional Reenactment of “Thriller”

The Meyer Levin School for the Performing Arts, a middle school in Brooklyn, hosted its Annual Fall Carnival on Halloween. The main event featured a production of “Thriller Illusions,” a live show in which students reenacted the music of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” album through choreography. The show began at 10:30 AM at the Meyer Levin Theater. Following the momentous performance, the Elementary Fall Carnival began at 11:30 AM, an opportunity to introduce elementary families to Meyer Levin School. “Thriller Illusions” showcased high-level and polished talent being nurtured in Brooklyn. The Meyer Levin School brought recognizable pop culture back to the stage at this spooky shindig. 

The Meyer Levin School for the Performing Arts provides a safe space and creates opportunities for students to excel in academics, performing arts, athletics, and social activism. They challenge their students with innovative practices, teach them independence, and critical thinking skills. The middle school celebrates its talented students and their transformation. Graduates of Meyer Levin will learn to be lifelong learners who are driven to take strategic risks and perform at high levels in academics and the arts. The goal is to prepare them for college and future careers.
