Dyva D’lights Cake Event Was Not Your Ordinary Affair

Robin Lester, creator and CEO of Dyva D’Lights Cakes knows how to throw an amazing event. Guests were already licking their lips when the announcement was first made in March about the gala. Getting a taste of Dyva D’Lights infamous Banana Pudding Cake as well as her other delectable cakes were undoubtedly on their minds. Her guests were in for a pleasant surprise. Dyva D’Lights Cake event was not your ordinary affair. Besides the delightful cakes, guests were entertained throughout the course of the evening. The guest list included Eddie Love from WBLS radio station, Shanda Freeman, Sofia Davis, Mogul Diva Gwen DeVoe, Representative Adrian Coudwin, and Faye Budden, the mother of Joe Budden. Faye Budden told us she met Robin at a previous event hosted by Yandy Smith. At the event she encountered the sweet taste of Dyva D’Lights and she just fell in love with the cakes. A fashion show was given which included designs by, Ashley Stewart, Triple Stitch Diva, Rhonda Jones/Juuls Contour, and Joy Ashley NYC plus Model/Network. Live music was provided by R&B singer Irene Renee and Spoken Word by Brother Earl. Soul Purpose provided hand pampering. Mommy and Me Chocolates, specializing in exotic chocolates, proved anything can be made of chocolate; butterflies, lollipops and glasses to name a few. TreaSured Soy Candles can be used as body butter, just burn it and it turns into oil which is reusable. Cura Massages offered massages to the patrons. Pure Romance offered adult party favors and a line of oils. Limeation presented three fresh squeezed flavored organic beverages that consisted of organic sugar, filtered water and no preservatives. Traci Lynn Jewelry, whose pieces have been worn by reality stars Kandi, K Michelle, and Cynthia Bailey and NEM, all event planning production that will make your budget work for you among others. Luscious Wines offered guests complimentary Moscato. Vera Moore Cosmetics and Taliah – Waajid sponsored the gifts. These eats included finger licking ribs, wonderful wings, garlic shrimp, Spanish rice, potato salad, string beans and tossed salad. And of course, we can’t leave out the main attraction, Dyva D’Lights cakes. It was obvious Robin Lester’s supporters appreciated that this was not a traditional cake event. It was established with the desserts, the entertainment, the fashion and networking.
