With most of the country canceling Halloween this year, Los Angeles-based food vendor, Sushi With Attitude, will be providing free masks with every food delivery order for the month of October. Despite the challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Sushi with Attitude adapts to the needs of the community by bringing treats for their customers while encouraging safety.
Originally a family-run food stand that operated during popular Los Angeles food festivals like the 626 Night Market, Sushi With Attitude began out of necessity during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Before the pandemic, their business opted to create new opportunities for college students and hired students in need of jobs. Now unable to attend night markets or sustain a physical location, Sushi with Attitude launched a virtual brand that relied on a commercial kitchen to prepare food for delivery or takeout only, with no dine-in customers. During an unemployment high, Sushi With Attitude also continues to serve the community by hiring recent college graduates for their virtual platform.
With a mission to bring fun, exciting and responsible food deliveries for people eating at home, Sushi With Attitude has been bridging that gap with their fusion sushi for most Angelenos. Since it is not recommended for people to go out door-to-door and trick-or-treat, Sushi With Attitude will be giving every customer a mask to create an at-home experience that not only protects yourself and others but also provides a fun costume idea for virtual parties. Every order will also be accompanied by candy bars to celebrate the festivities.
Sushi With Attitude maintains a close-knit group of loyal and new customers, no doubt because of their delicious food, but also their socially aware business practices and service.
