Porscha Coleman is an actress, singer, dancer, television host, and voiceover artist who stars alongside Jamie Fox and David Alan Grier in Netflix’s new #1 comedy series, Dad Stop Embarrassing Me. Since its release in mid-April, Dad Stop Embarrassing Me has amassed fans all over the world, quickly rising to the top of Netflix’s list of most popular shows.

The feel-good comedy follows single Atlanta entrepreneur Brian Dixon (Fox) and his teenage daughter, Sasha (Kyla-Drew), as they navigate their father-daughter relationship. Porscha’s character, Chelsea Dixon, embodies an independent girl boss with an exceptional fashion sense. Chelsea, Brian’s sister, plays a crucial role in offering guidance through the perspective of an empowered and successful woman.

Porscha emulates her actual life as inspiration for Chelsea. “I have four nieces. One is twenty-two, and the other is thirteen. I literally know what it’s like to be the auntie who’s really cool, but when it comes time to get serious when they need advice, I’m there for them. And they’re all girls, so stepping into the role of auntie on TV was easy.”

Through her words of encouragement and willingness to go above and beyond for Sasha, Chelsea becomes the voice of reason amongst the motley crew of dynamic characters in the Dixon family.

Porscha has a recurring role in the hit Amazon Prime series, “Paradise City,” starring Bella Thorne and the late Cameron Boyce. Her multifaceted career includes guest starring and recurring roles in the hit TV series, “Silicon Valley,” “Ballers,” “Good Girls,” “Switched at Birth,” “The Parkers,” “7th Heaven,” “My Wife & Kids,” “Boston Public,” “Wild ‘N Out,” and more.

Porscha played a love interest of Travis McCoy in the music video for the chart-topping hit single “Cupid’s Chokehold” by Gym Class Heroes. As a television host, Porscha co-hosted a daily entertainment show, “Hollywood Today Live,” interviewing a host of top actors, musicians, and reality TV personalities.
