As a multi-city venture, the Sistahs in Business (SIB) Expo attracts crowds in major cities across the U.S., supporting and celebrating entrepreneurial women of color. In addition, the Sistahs in Business Expo gives Women of Color owned businesses the opportunity to show and grow their reach. After being postponed for a year and a half because of the pandemic, the expo will kick off on July 10th in Philadelphia at the Hilton – Philadelphia City Avenue and will welcome over 100 brands owned by women of color from across the nation. With Radio One as an official media partner, the expo will be a jam-packed day of shopping, women empowerment, and entertainment with confirmed attendance from Cynthia Bailey, Malinda Williams, and more!
“We’ve always been committed to providing a platform where women of color can showcase and grow their businesses while gaining valuable resources and information,” says Aisha Taylor Issah, Founder & CEO of Sistahs In Business Expo. The tour will also include stops in the DMV area (Maryland) on August 7th, Atlanta, GA on September 18th, and Newark, NJ on October 22 and 23rd.
Women of color are the largest and fastest-growing demographic of entrepreneurs in the nation. SIB Expo provides an accessible platform where women of color can significantly expand their reach and grow their businesses. Besides their expos, the brand has been expanded to include the Sistahs in Business University, created to provide in-depth training for entrepreneurs on starting and scaling their businesses. In Jan 2019, we also launched our weekly PrayerCast, a live podcast where we gather with women from all over the country to pray for the success of our businesses.
