The new movie, No New Friends, was released on the streaming service Tubi on February 9th, 2024. It was announced by Indie film leader Geechee One Films on March 6, 2024. The film was received very well, quickly making it to the Tubi Weekend Watchlist, Top Black Independent Cinema, Top Black Thriller, and Most Popular Indie Film, on Tubi. This independent thriller is a short movie, with a runtime of 66 minutes.
No New Friends focuses on discovering who your true friends are. The film follows a young girl amid her changing life who suddenly passed away at a party following a mysterious tragedy. Her death is anything but ordinary with little understanding and evidence of what might have happened to her. Some of her friends are loyal while others are dishonest, and it all unfolds in this exciting and engrossing drama.
This well-received new film introduces audiences to Jane Elvire, Lovely Badazz, Paris Parez, Shys Debiocci, and Amber Lu. The movie was written by Felicia Rivers/Jawanza Brown. Felicia Rivers also directed the movie.
