Tell us your story; what drove you to pursue empowerment leadership and self-development as your career, and how did it lead to the creation of the G.E.I.N Transformational Enterprise?
Empowerment, personal development, and rather leadership were not a choice. It was a calling I chose to answer subconsciously at an early age. Born in a family of 10 in the inner city of Jamaica, it came naturally to want to see the best in my siblings and people. Leadership was simply the vehicle I chose as a guiding tool to assist them, identifying their strengths and using them to aid in them becoming the best version of themselves. I then recognized that to value and love myself, I had to practice developing myself first through the empowerment systems I created to become the woman I am today.
In addition, success is doing what I love while getting someone to pay me. Duplication of this ideology led to the G.E.I.N (Generating, Empowering, Impacting Nations) Transformational Enterprise. Also, the programs and workshops taught in G.E.I.N Enterprise help you identify and use your passion to turn it into legacy and wealth creation while choosing holistically to develop yourself daily.
You have 11 workshop programs and nine leadership and customer service programs. Could you explain some programs and what individuals and organizations can gain by attending?
G.E.I.N Transformational Enterprise has curated 11 Leadership and Personal Development workshop programs. Based on my assessment, these workshops are customized to each organization. By identifying their weaknesses or areas that can boost company profitability and employee productivity. This system is provided in my book. Lead-Your-Ship Corporate and Personal Development Workbook. This includes leadership, supervisor, and personal development strategies for corporations. Additional workshops are recently offered, such as:
1. Leadership Dominance.
2. Management Leadership.
3. Personal Development Leadership.
4. Empower HER Workshop.
5. Customer Excellence Leadership.
All workshops follow a three-part strategy: Identify the problem, solve it, and actively implement the solutions using customized workshop activities.
All three work together to create a customized system to implement immediately. This is followed by a written assessment of ideas to maintain the new strategy and a follow-up meeting or assessment of the implemented strategy with the company.
What strategies would you suggest to organizations or individuals to help them evolve personally and professionally?
Invest in their employee’s standards three times per year through Leadership and Personal Development workshops. The employees are the first point of contact with the customers. They represent the company’s vision and mission. A salary will not simply boost productivity all the time. The employees will need to know that their ideas are heard, their personal development is tended to, they learn and grow every day, and they are a part of the company’s success and goals.
This provides a purpose for each employee, and the company’s success and profitability will be their priority. Always put the employees first, and they will put their company’s success first. Your employees are the heart and engine of your company.
What were your writing strategies and inspirations that brought on your upcoming release, “She’s Evolutionary.” What messages can readers look for that will revolutionize their leadership, excellence, and lifestyles?
“She’s Evolutionary,” her poetic truth to self-evolution, is written to empower each woman through self-actualization while activating her best version of herself. Poetry form was chosen to evoke the raw emotions of each stage a woman goes through, what it looks like, and how it feels. The book is divided into two parts: the SHE signifies who you are, and the EVOLUTIONARY signifies who you are becoming.
Once you can identify yourself, your passion, and your strengths and weaknesses, you are better equipped to lead yourself. If you can lead yourself, this process can be duplicated to lead others. Leadership is a direct reflection and vision of who you are, demonstrated by your team daily. Furthermore, you will first have to master Self-Leadership before mastering People-Leadership. This will ultimately affect the productivity, profitability, and growth of any organization you represent.
You advocate for male empowerment and even started the Legacy Tour for Boys. Could you explain Legacy Tour for Boys and how it helped eliminate toxic masculinity and be a positive role model for boys and men? What are some approaches to achieving male upliftment and positivity through your workshops and personal growth? Are there any future projects promoting in this area?
The Legacy Tour for Boys is an initiative that provides boys with the connections and skills needed to succeed by successful male mentors. This tour was created for boys in schools in the inner cities of Jamaica who were not exposed to successful men who were once in their positions and prevailed.
In Jamaican society, women outnumber men almost triple in numbers. They attend universities and accept high-paying jobs in corporate or entrepreneurship. They are absent from their homes, and the family unit is broken. Women invest in themselves but cannot find a man who matches their ambitions, goals, and dreams. A self-actualized woman needs a self-actualized man to lead, which is missing in the family home.
The tour equips the boys from an early age on what is expected of them and what their roles and functions are as the patriarchy of the family unit. The narrative needs to be changed as men hardly invest in attending personal development workshops and in themselves. Men are expected to be natural leaders, but as society progresses, they lose their way or need tools to tap into their leadership faculties. G.E.I.N Transformational Enterprise aids both males and females in that area.
What are your aspirations for the future of G.E.I.N Transformational Enterprise, and how do you envision continuing to make a positive impact in the lives of others?
