London’s R&B music artist, Jaz Karis, is back to captivate our hearts with the release of her latest single, “Too Soon.” Following her success, which included a debut album, “Safe Flight,” that was released in September 2024, she had a sold-out global tour going to LA, London, Paris, Manchester, Birmingham, Amsterdam, and NYC. According to Karis, ““Too Soon” embodies the phrase ‘right person, wrong timing,’” Jaz says. “I came to the studio straight from the airport, knowing that it was most probably one of the last times I’d see the person, & even though I knew it was coming, I was still at quite a loss. I think it’s been one of the easiest songs I’ve written, as it felt like I was just venting. We wanted not to overproduce the song so it didn’t take away from the emotions that ran through each line – so an acoustic guitar and strings were the perfect accompaniment to my feelings.”
Karis’s rise to fame started with a COLORS performance of “Petty Lover.” Now she has toured with RAYE, Tom Misch, and Stonebwoy.
