Brandy and Monica are finally giving fans the collaboration they’ve waited over two decades for. After years of anticipation and individual success, the two R&B legends are coming together for their first-ever co-headlining tour, The Boy Is Mine. Announced on CBS Mornings, the 24-city arena tour will kick off on October 16 in Dallas, TX, and wrap up on December 7 in Los Angeles. This powerhouse reunion is more than just a nostalgic performance — it’s about celebrating legacy, sisterhood, and R&B culture in its most iconic form.

This tour marks a full-circle moment for the singers whose 1998 GRAMMY-winning duet “The Boy Is Mine” became an anthem of empowerment, friendly competition, and vocal chemistry. Backed by the Black Promoters Collective, this long-awaited tour celebrates not only a historic musical reunion but also the evolution of both artists’ careers—and the legacy they’ve left in the world of R&B and Black artistry.

The tour’s announcement arrives on the heels of the duo’s joint cameo in Ariana Grande’s “the boy is mine” remix video, along with a GRAMMY nomination for the track. It’s clear that the culture hasn’t forgotten the impact these women made—and now they’re bringing that influence on the road with special guests Kelly Rowland, Muni Long, and American IdolSeason 23 winner Jamal Roberts.

“This is more than a tour—it’s a celebration,” Monica shared. “A celebration of where we’ve been, where we are, and where we’re going.”

Brandy added, “To share this moment with Monica, and our fans, means everything. We’re doing this for the culture.”

The Boy Is Mine tour will feature individual sets by both stars, special collaborative performances, and moments curated to uplift, honor, and empower. With a mini-movie directed by Ethan Tobman (known for work with Beyoncé and Taylor Swift), fans can expect high production, cinematic visuals, and deeply personal storytelling. It’s another example of how Brandy and Monica are celebrating legacy, sisterhood, and R&B culture by using their platform to tell meaningful stories through sound and image.

Produced by the Black Promoters Collective—a coalition focused on creating equitable and inclusive live entertainment experiences—this tour exemplifies what ENSPIRE stands for: legacy, empowerment, and community. It’s about bridging generations through music and showcasing what’s possible when Black women are given the space to lead, shine, and inspire. Brandy and Monica’s tour is not just an event, but a movement celebrating legacy, sisterhood, and R&B culture for today and the next generation.
