( ENSPIRE Feature ) Black Agents Network’s “ModelLife” Virtual Event Provided Support and Direction To Models in Their Journeys Toward Success

This past Sunday, December 13th, the Black Agents Network (BAN) hosted a webinar to offer aspiring models a window into the ins and outs of the industry. The free event offered invaluable information about how to begin and further one’s career as a model, creating a platform of support and guidance during otherwise difficult times.
The Black Agents Network has made its mark by providing a centralized network of Black-owned talent to local and international advertisers, producers, and studios. Driven by a need to increase representation across industries, BAN helps businesses fulfill their Diversity and Inclusion pledges while creating more spaces for BIPOC (black, indigenous, and people of color) artists to gain access to resources and showcase their talents.
Their “ModelLife” webinar was led by Ezra Jones, the Creative Director of theFstate Magazine and a published photographer with features in Vanity Teen. Jones has also established his career by orchestrating photoshoots with music-artist Tyler Jacob, actor Norman Towns, and model Dana Isaiah, among many others.
The primary focus of the “ModelLife” virtual event, hosted in Century City, California, was to provide a foundation for aspiring models who are either working to establish a career or to take theirs to the next level. The topics covered by Jones spanned from building portfolios, funding agencies, and wielding social media effectively to the core facets of sustaining a modeling career.
At the root of the event, Black Agents Network hoped to provide a support system and build a community for the motivated individuals as they continue on their own journeys. “Black Agents Network recognizes that barriers to entry center from a lack of information. . . information that we have found, when provided, to be beneficial to the emerging artist as they begin to curate their careers,” explains Tiauna Jackson, a BAN Agency Member. The webinar served as a powerful reminder that ambition, coupled with the support of others, is an unstoppable recipe for success.
