( ENSPIRE Fashion ) Kas Introduces W.E.T. Boundary Breaking Fashion Line
On September 25th, 2025, there was a Collection Release Special Virtual Press Junket with celebrity designer and stylist Kenny “Kas” Flanagan as the highlight of the evening. A fashion experience for the eyes, hosted by MNS Media Group, a PR agency that has recently added Kas to its roster of top-tier talent. On September 15th, the fashion world turned its sights on Kas, a seasoned designer whose work has spanned more than three decades. He has redressed the idea of modern glamour and continues his fashion-forward path in his latest work, the Welcome Black Collection–a bold manifesto of heritage strength and unapologetic luxury. Confident, commanding, and unforgettable are three things that come to mind when Kas creates new fashion. He has shaped moments through his fashion for celebrities such as Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Snoop Dogg, Toni Braxton, The Rock, and Kevin Hart, to name a few, all accentuating their charisma and style.
This season, he changed the narrative with his Welcome Black collection and introduced W.E.T. (With Exceptional Taste), a boundary-breaking fashion line. The Welcome Black Collection is couture with an edge, using lavish fabrics in audacious silhouettes and textures. Each garment is layered, showcasing legacy and defiance of the norm, a luxury with intent. “Fashion should never be confined by gender,” Kas insists. “W.E.T. is built on attitude, not anatomy—it’s about giving anyone who wears it the power to feel daring, exceptional, and unapologetic.”
Kas is a protégé of Yves Saint Laurent and the first African American male couture designer featured at Saks Fifth Avenue. His fashion has graced film screens, magazines, and global stages, which have earned him the America’s Prince of Fashion Award, the Career Achievement Award in Fashion, and a nomination for the CFDA Breakthrough Designer Award. Other accolades include a State of Maryland Proclamation for his impact on culture and Kas’s fashion being on New York Fashion Week runways.
