( ENSPIRE Community ) Jaden Smith Celebrated His 21st Birthday By Bringing Free Vegan Meals to Homeless in Los Angeles
Jaden Smith is really an icon living. The entertainer, actor, and entrepreneur continues his activism that has become a staple in his career by giving back to those in need. Monday, Jaden celebrated his 21st birthday with a pop-up food truck for the homeless. His “I Love You” food truck provided free vegan meals to the homeless.
Sunday, Smith took to Instagram to unveil the I Love You restaurant food truck, which he took to the Skid Row area of Los Angeles to dole out free food. Homelessness in Los Angeles is up 16% over last year across the city, according to a 2019 report from the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority.
This is not Jaden first run with philanthropic efforts to help the community. Earlier this year his JUST good company collaborated with First Trinity Missionary Baptist Church in Flint, MI to install a mobile water filtration system known as “The Water Box” to help reduce lead and other contaminants.
