( ENSPIRE Feature ) Television and Radio Personality Nikki Rich Will Be Walking the Runway for HiTechMODA
During New York Fashion Week, HiTechModa has decided for their second annual fashion show that they were going to combine fashion and compassion in a stylish message of inclusivity for Suicide Awareness month.
“We need to make these NYFW events relevant and entertaining, with an authentic edge that communicates and inspires across many disciplines,” said Producer Pamela Privette. “Fashion has proven to spark a paradigm shift inciting social change while working in tandem to communicate and move the needle from a much deeper level,” said Catherine Schuller, Curator, and Creative Director.
HiTechMODA likes the idea of enhancing individuals thinking, as well as talk about critical issues in the world that need to be talked about. It is a way to educate and inspire others to have a conversation about tough subjects that people face each and every day.
Nikki Rich is very excited to be walking in the fashion show for a cause. JTL Designs is out of Philadelphia and making her debut on the catwalk and is thrilled to include Nikki Rich in her fashion. Julia Turner Lowe, designer of JTL says, “Nikki represents the modern woman who loves fashion and isn’t afraid to stand out boldly in color and style with my power pieces that layer and can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion.” Realizing a void in the market, this size diversity designer is making a statement with these versatile shape friendly, layering pieces that epitomize elegance, sophistication and no fuss, dramatic dressing. Nikki is Oprah Winfrey’s Network Ambassador, media and press for Oprah’s Life You Want tour and #1 Amazon Bestselling published author and speaker.
There will be designers from around the globe, which includes Australia, Philippines, India, Africa, Latin America, not to mention Native American designers. The setting of National Geographic is a perfect venue for celebrating Mother Nature and the need for climate issues and environmental concerns to be featured in the forefront of fashion, seeing as fashion represents production and consumption aspects that are amongst the most toxic of any industry.
