Mimi Bosika is a female entrepreneur, business owner, athlete, and advisor to other businesses and professionals. She is a life-long professional table tennis player who additionally has an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Alongside her co-founder, Bosika has turned an innovative approach to chronic pain and muscle injury into a successful therapy business, Delos Therapy. Delos Therapy is now in its seventh year of business in Chicago, IL. With the success of their first company, they have now launched a sister company, Delos Robotics. Delos Robotics is taking the therapeutic approaches of Delos Therapy and utilizing artificial intelligence to bring their unique methods to help thousands more with their chronic pain.
The success of Delos Therapy and Delos Robotics did not come without its challenges, however. Bosika says that in the early days of her business she dealt with stress and worry over whether or not it would succeed. However, despite the hardships, she never gave up and reminded herself daily why she wanted to be a business owner in the first place.
“I wanted to be an entrepreneur because I wanted to be my own boss and I wanted to work in an environment that I created with my co-founder and team,” Bosika explains. “Most entrepreneurs will say that no matter how stressful our work is, the benefits always outweigh the costs because we are building our dream company.”
Bosika now brings her experience as a business woman who has faced many hardships throughout her entrepreneurial journey and advises young business professionals to reach their full potential.
