Artist Alicia Keys recently hosted a Nickelodeon show that focused on prejudice. Keys examined bigot episodes she’s confronted and said that her white mother was regularly confused with her supervisor or sitter when she initially began performing. Keys’ mom, Terria Joseph, rushed to address any individual who thought she was a utilized worker by her little girl, Keys said.
At a certain point in the show, a young lady named Josephine, whose parents are of different races, shared how individuals frequently offer remarks scrutinizing her mom’s job in her life, since her mom has darker skin than hers.
