Vivian Green’s new single, “Light Up,” featuring Ghostface will be on her new forthcoming and 7th studio album, “Love Absolute,” releasing on Make Noise/SRG ILS/UMG label on Nov. 13th.
This is the 3rd single since the album’s pre-sale on 10/23 on all streaming platforms produced by Kwamé Holland. “Light Up” is an uptempo feel-good record. This song is about still being in love with that special someone after all this time, still feeling butterflies and excitement.
The song samples the classic Evelyn “Champagne” King’s club hit “Love Come Down.” This remix is an upbeat song that makes people feel good and blissful as a reflection of a happy relationship, perfect for those struggling during this time.
COVID-19 hit hard for Vivian Green as she was trying to release her music, “When we first dropped ‘Light Up’ we were derailed by COVID. We didn’t think anything would happen with this song that I loved so much. Then out of the blue, Ghostface jumped on the track! We were shocked and surprised! I’ve loved Ghostface’s music since the beginning, so this was an amazing blessing! This is another one for all the amazing DJ’s, especially the ones keeping the music going during these trying times.“ Luckily, Ghostface was there to join Vivian Green on her new feel-good track to get it released during this time.
