Your Queens Salutes Ancient African History During Kwanzaa 2020

Your Queens inc., the first registered Entertainment Character Company depicting the stories of real African Queens, will have their 4th annual Kwanzaa Celebration on Saturday, December 26, 2020, Virtually from 5 PM to 7 PM, presented by i Rant Network. 

In the costume entertainment industry where most characters are fictional, the mission of Your Queens inc. is to evaluate, educate and express the dynamic lineage of real African women―Queen Amina of Zaria – Nigeria, Queen Makeda of Sheba – Ethiopia, and Queens Cleopatra, Nefertiti, and Goddess Isis. 

For the past 5 years, Your Queens inc. has provided services to over 250 organizations including public schools, counseling centers, special events, art/music festivals, colleges, and more.

Media and public features for this celebration include Afropunk, Huffington Post, Essence, Elle Magazine, Hot 97, The Root, CUNY TV and News 12, New York 1, CBSN,  Rolling out Magazine, and Sheen Magazine. With over 150 guests in attendance, Your Queens celebrated their 4th year anniversary at the Historic National Black Theatre in Harlem New. The 4th Annual Kwanzaa Celebration will take place virtually on Saturday, December 26th, 2020 from 5 PM to 7 PM on our YouTube and Facebook platforms, through storytelling, song, and dance. Each Queen, adorned in royal garb, will share their dynamic history with the audience while bringing joy, building self-esteem, and confidence. The celebration will include the lighting of the seven Kwanzaa principles, Storytelling, Q and A, Vendors, and African dance performance.
