ENSPIRE Contributor: LaShonda Thompson

The application for NYUL’s new Small Business SOLUTIONS Center is now open. This program will provide 25 Black-owned small businesses in New York City with sophisticated and tailored professional services. In late July, a list of selected businesses will be released. The program’s first cohort will begin in early August with a mandatory orientation and end in November.

Members of this elite inaugural cohort will partner with industry professionals to address pressure points such as marketing, finance, technology, human resources, and business management. Each selected business will receive a unique assessment with a lead consultant, who will produce a knowledgeable course of action prescribed by an advisory board of corporate executives, successful entrepreneurs, and other industry leaders.
