At the culmination of her long and successful career in media, Monica Davis is using her resources, expertise, and values to change lives. Her career has given her the opportunity to cultivate a network of the most reputable and trustworthy brands, which people can use to better themselves and their lives.
She has recently founded Exceptional People Magazine, which is a digital magazine aimed to not only uplift the outstanding subjects of the articles but provide solutions and empowerment for the readers. Entrepreneurs and professionals can use the Magazine as a source of education and inspiration and help solve the hundreds of problems that arise in business and daily life.
She recently spoke with ENSPIRE:
Tell us a little about your 20+ year career. How did you get started, and what brought you to where you are today?
At an early age, I had a vision and dream of helping people improve their lives personally and professionally, but it wasn’t until I wrote and published my first book that I gained a clearer picture of how I could impact humanity.
The first media interview I did as an author helped me realize that I could use media as a platform to assist entrepreneurs with creating brands that connect with their market at a deeper level. My love for serving others and my desire to help people live well and do well have brought me to where I am today.
What are a few of the services you offer, and how do they positively impact the people who utilize them?
A couple of services I offer are media consulting and brand narrative development. Many of the people I’ve worked with include luminaries, Fortune 500 leaders, small business owners, and entrepreneurs. They have all been impacted in various ways.
They have enhanced their personal and brand image gained more clients through improved messaging, increased revenue through award-winning narratives, and build valuable relationships and partnerships worldwide, which has also led to substantial growth. Media, when used correctly, can be a powerful method for supporting business growth.
What has been your greatest success?
The highlight of my career has been my work and compassion for humanity, which spans my entire career. My greatest success has been my impact on the people I’ve worked with and served over the years. When they see the value in what I do and are excited about the results, they achieve. That lets me know I’m doing the right things. I’ve used my skills and creativity to encourage, enlighten, and help entrepreneurs implement life-changing strategies to live well, do well, and impact others daily.
What is the main goal of the Exceptional People Network? How do you set about achieving this goal?
Our mission for the Exceptional People Network is to develop a business platform designed to engage, inform, inspire, and support entrepreneurs and businesses in ways that encourage and enable them to excel by providing content, tools, and resources for success.
We will continue to expand the platform to help as many entrepreneurs as possible become successful and change the lives of the people they serve. Though the platform is relatively new, we are excited about what lies ahead as we build a community that inspires creative ideas, answers critical questions, and provides solutions to business problems that keep them from growing. We want them to build a solid foundation and manage their companies effectively as they pursue entrepreneurial success.
We intend to build a platform that consistently educates and supports them so they learn how to make strategic decisions that will enable them to achieve growth more confidently, solve problems, and rejuvenate their minds and lives.
What motivates you? How do you stay motivated when facing issues such as burnout or overwork?
Success means serving others in ways that will positively impact their lives today and help them envision what possibilities lie ahead and how they can leverage them to live the best version of themselves tomorrow and beyond.
What motivates me is that I believe I’m living my purpose, and as long as I do that, I can keep going regardless of the challenges I may encounter.
I’ll always be motivated as long as I can help create a ripple effect of goodness and positivity.
Last, what are some of your plans for the future?
Our current plan and the main focus is on building a platform and community that supports entrepreneurs and business leaders in extraordinary ways – a place where entrepreneurs can learn how to solve their challenges, excel in their business, and support each other in their endeavors.
