( ENSPIRE Entertainment ) Marvel’s Next Show She-Hulk: Attorney At Law is Premiering on August 18 on Disney+
ENSPIRE Contributor: Alexandra Rivera
Originally set to drop on Disney + on August 17, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will now come to the streaming platform a day later. She-Hulk will star Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters, the She-Hulk, and Mark Ruffalo reprising his role as Bruce Banner and The Hulk. The show will have nine episodes with weekly drops each Thursday.
In the comics by Stan Lee, Walters gets into an accident and needs a blood transfusion, which is given to her by Banner. This causes her to gain a milder version of Hulk’s abilities. We do not know how the MCU will have Walters get her powers, but they decided to stick to the comics. This is what watchers can expect to see.
The official trailer opens with Banner training Walters to control her new powers with flashes to her back in the real world working as an attorney. Walters primarily works on superhuman-oriented legal cases.
The main antagonist will be Emil Blonsky played by Tim Roth. Blonsky is a prisoner who combined the super soldier serum with gamma radiation, giving him a modified version of Hulk’s powers. He takes on the persona of the Abomination, one of Hulk’s greatest enemies throughout the Marvel comics. Walters is forced to take Blonsky on as a client even though there is a conflict of interest because Blonsky tried to kill her cousin Banner.
There will be appearances by Marvel vets like Wong, played by Benedict Wong, and Matt Murdock also known as Daredevil, played by Charlie Cox. This will be the first time fans will see Murdock since his part in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Fans can expect to see an action-packed crime-fighting show with elements of comedy thrown in.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will run from August to October and be followed by Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever, which hits theaters on November 11. Be sure to watch She-Hulk on Disney+ when it premieres on August 18!
