( ENSPIRE Music ) Miles Caton, R&B Crooner Is Ready To Step Into The Spotlight With His Debut Single ‘This Ain’t It’

Miles Caton is truly a star in his own right and although he has grown up in the public eye of the church, he’s finally taking control of his destiny in music with the long-awaited release of his debut single ‘This Ain’t It’. The soulful singer who has been singing since the age of 2 has made a name for himself over the years as he’s showcased his powerhouse vocals, but as a kid, he wasn’t always able to fully express himself musically. Growing up as a child prodigy of Gospel greats like his mother Timiney Figueroa would intimidate some, but not this kid. Early on he realized that his gift would continuously make room for him and boy did it ever.

Miles could be seen or heard performing with the likes of legend likes Kurt Carr along with Fred Hammond, Faith Evans, Erica Campbell, Smokie Norful, and Bishop TD Jakes on the legendary Bobby Jones Gospel show, or on The View singing alongside Gospel powerhouse Yolanda Adams. And just to think he even appeared on NBC’s Little Big Shots because of a video of him going viral doing what he simply does best and that’s singing. For anyone who has heard Miles, it was clear to see that his gift for music was going to take him places he couldn’t even imagine, and within a few years, he traveled the world as a supporting vocalist for breakout superstar H.E.R.

Now for most kids going to school, studying, and hanging out with their friends is the norm for a teenager but not Miles. In the last two years, he has performed at The Grammys, The Academy Awards and toured all over the world using his gift all while finishing school on the road. His hard work and determination even allowed him to graduate early, but this just proved how dedicated he is to his craft. As the R&B crooner continued to take his career to the next level, it was clear that he was ready to step into the spotlight on his own as he quietly worked on his own music. Within no time the triple threat was finally ready to give the world just a taste of what they had been waiting on with the release of his debut single ‘This Ain’t It’.

The buzz-worthy single which is becoming a fan favorite as his audience continues to grow, is the perfect record to showcase his gift as he delivers a clean vocal performance reminiscent of legends Stevie Wonder and Donny Hathaway who have been a major influence on him as an artist. He recently hit the stage to perform the single live on Bronx Net’s Open as host Rhina Valentin sat down with the rising star to talk about his journey in the music business as an indie artist.

Miles who is only 18 is just beginning to show the world what he’s really capable of and if you’re in the NYC area, you can experience his gift up close and personal for his first headlining show at the legendary SOBs on June 7th for Nema’s Boom Boom Room. Check out his interview and performance below just so you can see why this superstar in the making is well on his way to becoming a household name as he continues to wow audiences around the world.
