Today, she shares with us why having a daily skincare routine is crucial for your everyday health.

Mathis advises everyone to implement skincare as part of one’s routine to rejuvenate the skin and increase cell renewal. This results in hydrated, supple, and youthful skin. If you’re new to skincare or don’t know where to start, Mathis advises buying or investing in a professional brand with three essentials. These three basic essentials when starting a skincare routine are a cleanser, exfoliant, and moisturizer with SPF.

Mathis also suggests investing in a serum that is specific for one’s skincare needs and investing in a professional facial from a licensed esthetician, like herself.

She also suggests that everyone start their routine by cleansing their skin. This is the first step of one’s skincare to remove any impurities, as well as, infuse any nutrients within the skin.

The most important part of your skincare routine, especially during sunny days, is to apply sunscreen. Mathis says the benefits of thoroughly applying sunscreen are protection from the UV rays and it also helps prevent sun disorders and hyperpigmentation.

Neutrogena, The Ordinary, Alastin, and Cetaphil have been dubbed as some of the best skincare products in the industry right now. You can also check out Mathis’s verified skin and beauty products at Skin Beauty Bar’s website
