In an unprecedented collaboration, the acclaimed film “ORIGIN” by Academy Award nominee Ava DuVernay is set to take center stage at Art Basel Miami 2023. Partnering with Tribeca Festival and UBS, the celebration will unfold on December 8th in Miami Beach for a private screening, followed by a public screening at the Regal South Beach on December 9th at 1 pm ET.

The exclusive weekend, supported by UBS, a leading global wealth manager and the Global Lead Partner for Art Basel, promises a unique blend of art, music, and film. UBS, as the social impact partner of the events, is dedicated to innovative solutions for pressing social issues worldwide.

ORIGIN” unfolds the compelling narrative of Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Isabel Wilkerson, portrayed by Academy Award nominee Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor. Crossing continents and cultures, Isabel investigates a global phenomenon, weaving a tale of tragedy, triumph, and the human spirit. The stellar cast includes Niecy Nash-Betts, Jon Bernthal, Vera Farmiga, Nick Offerman, Victoria Pedretti, Connie Nielsen, and Finn Wittrock. The film is poised for a theatrical release on January 19, 2024, following an exclusive one-week engagement in NY and LA starting December 8th.
