( ENSPIRE Entertainment ) Pop Icon Jennifer Lopez Reveals the Behind-the-Scenes of Her Album Process in New Documentary

On February 27, 2024, Jennifer Lopez will release her new film The Greatest Love Story Never Told. The documentary will offer a behind-the-scenes look at Lopez’s independent production of a new album and explore her “twenty-year journey to self-love.” Lopez’s personal life will be highlighted through interviews with those close to her and scenes filmed at her home. Dubbed “a vulnerable portrait of an icon who put it all on the line,” The Greatest Love Story Never Told shows how Lopez found self-love as she navigated an influential career.
Superstar Jennifer Lopez, also called “J.Lo,” is known for acting in successful TV shows and films, like the 1997 biopic “Selena” and romcoms like “The Wedding Planner” before entering the music scene. A pop artist, Lopez has infused her music with Latin influences, causing outlets like Billboard to credit her with “the Latin dance music boom of the 2000s.” Her debut album’s lead single “If You Had My Love,” was number one on the Billboard Hot 100 for five weeks, and she won her first Grammy nomination for it. On February 16, 2024, she released her ninth album “This Is Me…Now,” which shares a similar name to her upcoming Amazon original musical film, “This is Me…Now: A Love Story.”
Recently, the singer visited the Bronx—where she grew up—at AMC Bay Plaza Cinema for a special screening of one of her films, which is related to The Greatest Love Story Never Told. The documentary is just one part of a “$20 million three-part multimedia project examining Lopez’s life as a serial romantic.” It will focus on the making of her record “This is Me…Now” and her other film, an Amazon original musical film titled “This is Me…Now: A Love Story.”
