The 4 Wheel City Foundation is led by Namel “Tapwaterz” Norris and Ricardo “Rickfire” Velasquez, men dedicated to advocating for disability rights and social change. Through the power of music, the Disability Pride Month Hip Hop Jam is an annual event hosted by the duo and is scheduled for July 14th at 2 pm EST at Central Park Bandshell. This event is part of the Disability Unite Festival and is a curated platform to amplify the voices and narratives of disabled artists within hip-hop.

The Lower Manhattan Cultural Council and Disability Unite sponsor the event. The phenomenal lineup of artists includes 4 Wheel City, Gifted Hands, Miamoney, QuestionATL, and Maserati$. Other activities include dynamic performances, rap battles, spoken word poetry, workshops, and panel discussions. The event explores the intersection of disability and hip-hop culture, challenging stereotypes and promoting a culture of inclusivity.
