In addition, she emphasizes the importance of the Thick Thighs Matter movement, and her podcast is under the same name. Lastly, she delves into the fits of her Curvitude swimwear and athletics, how fashion empowers women, and more.

What motivated you to launch Curvitude Boutique, and how did your journey as a designer begin?
Curvitude Boutique was born out of a passion for fashion and the need to create stylish, well-fitting clothing for curvy women who often struggle to find pieces that reflect their confidence and personality. My journey as a designer started with my frustration in shopping—realizing that the fashion industry often overlooked the needs of plus-size women. I began sketching designs, learning about textiles, and experimenting with styles that celebrated curves rather than hiding them. Over time, a personal passion evolved into a brand dedicated to empowerment, inclusivity, and self-expression.
Your Thick Thighs Matter collection’s release garnered significant attention. What inspired it, and how do you see it resonating with women today?
The “Thick Thighs Matter” the beauty, strength, and resilience of curvy women everywhere inspired collection. Too often, society pushes unrealistic beauty standards, but this collection is about reclaiming space, embracing confidence, and celebrating the body fully. Thick thighs aren’t just a trend—they’re a statement of power, femininity, and self-love.
When I designed this collection, I wanted every piece to make women feel bold, sexy, and unstoppable. Whether it’s through curve-hugging silhouettes, empowering slogans, or designs that move effortlessly with the body, the goal was to highlight and honor what makes us unique.
The response has been overwhelming because so many women relate to the message—owning their bodies unapologetically. In today’s world, where body positivity is more than a movement but a lifestyle, “Thick Thighs Matter” is a reminder that beauty isn’t about size—it’s about confidence, self-love, and the way you carry yourself.
You mentioned that this collection is more than just fashion; it’s a movement. Can you elaborate on what this movement represents and how you plan to foster it through your podcast?
Absolutely! The Thick Thighs Matter movement is about more than just fashion—empowerment, body confidence, and shifting the narrative around curvy bodies. For too long, mainstream beauty standards have made women feel like they need to shrink themselves to fit in. This movement challenges that mindset and encourages women to embrace their curves unapologetically.
Through my podcast, I plan to expand the conversation beyond just clothing. We’ll dive into topics like self-love, body positivity, health at every size, and the struggles and triumphs of being a curvy woman today. I want to create a space where we celebrate wins, tackle real issues—like discrimination in fashion and media—and give women a platform to share their journeys.
The podcast will also feature guest speakers, from plus-size influencers and entrepreneurs to fitness experts and mental health advocates, all sharing valuable insights on confidence, wellness, and success. It’s about building a community where women feel seen, heard, and uplifted.
Thick Thighs Matter isn’t just a statement—it’s a lifestyle. It’s about standing tall, loving yourself fully, and owning every inch of yourself. Through fashion, conversation, and community, I want to continue to push this movement forward and inspire women to live boldly and beautifully.
When designing for Curvitude Swimwear and Curvitude Athletics, what key elements do you prioritize to ensure comfort and style for curvy women?
- Fit & Support:
Curvy women deserve swimwear and activewear that looks great and provides the right amount of support. I focus on designs that offer strategic shapings—such as high-waisted bottoms, built-in bras, and compression panels—to enhance comfort and contour curves. Adjustable straps, wide waistbands, and stretch fabrics ensure a secure fit without digging in or rolling down.
- Functionality & Comfort:
Whether it’s a swimsuit that stays in place while swimming or athletic wear that moves effortlessly with the body, functionality is a top priority. I choose high-performance, breathable fabrics that provide stretch and flexibility while wicking away moisture. Seams are carefully placed to prevent chafing, and designs account for a full range of motion—whether for a beach day or an intense workout.
- Fashion-Forward Styles:
Style should never be sacrificed for comfort! I incorporate bold colors, trendy cuts, and flattering silhouettes that embrace curves rather than hide them. From sleek one-pieces with mesh panels to stylish leggings that sculpt and define, every piece is designed to make curvy women feel sexy, strong, and unstoppable.

How can fashion empower women, particularly those with curvier body types?
Women can see their bodies in a new, positive light when clothing is designed to embrace curves rather than hide them. Well-fitted, stylish clothing helps curvy women feel beautiful and proud of their shape.
Your Reels received 1.1 million views. What role does social media play in shaping the narrative around body positivity and fashion?
For years, traditional media dictated beauty standards, often excluding curvy bodies. Social media gives real women—with real bodies—a platform to be seen, celebrated, and embraced. It allows us to showcase fashion on diverse body types, proving that beauty and confidence come in all sizes.
What topics do you plan to cover in your podcast, and how do you hope it will empower listeners?
My podcast, “Thick Thights Matter,” is a bold, unfiltered space where we explore the realities of body positivity, confidence, entrepreneurship, and fashion for curvy women. It’s more than just talk—it’s about empowerment, self-love, and breaking barriers.
What challenges have you faced as a designer promoting inclusivity, and how have you worked to overcome them?
Gaining Visibility in the Mainstream Fashion Industry: Many major fashion events, retailers, and publications still undervalue plus-size fashion and hesitate to feature curvy brands.
How I Overcame It: I built my platform. Through social media, influencer collaborations, and viral campaigns, I’ve been able to reach and empower my audience directly instead of waiting for mainstream validation.

What are your long-term goals for Curvitude Boutique and your design lines, particularly regarding community impact?
Building a Body Positivity & Empowerment Community through THICKCON. Launching exclusive events, meetups, and workshops where curvy women can connect, uplift, and support one another. Hosting body-positive runway shows that celebrate plus-size beauty in all its forms. Using my platform to push for more inclusivity in mainstream fashion and demand representation in media and advertising
