Hosted by duo Deiondra Sanders and Gwen Madiba, the evening celebrated women who have shattered glass ceilings in diverse fields, from technology and media to humanitarian work and sports. This year’s gala championed a vital cause, supporting UNICEF in establishing a reproductive care home for homeless pregnant Black women in Canada, reinforcing the LEADHER Awards’ commitment to impactful social change.

The honoree lineup was a spectacular spectacle featuring actress and activist Meagan Good, renowned journalist Don Lemon, the multi-talented Tatyana Ali, and Emmy Award-winning producer Nzinga Blake. Barkue Tubman-Zawol of Essence Ventures, Tamika Tremaglio of the National Basketball Players Association, Tessy Ojo of The Diana Award, and Haja Sailma Monorma Bah, Minister of Communication, Technology & Innovation of Sierra Leone, were recognized for their groundbreaking contributions.
