Gospel Music is preparing to take center stage in Las Vegas as The Clark Sisters, Fred Hammond, and Deitrick Haddon come together for the launch of Legends of Gospel: Vegas Residency, a new concert series set to debut on October 8 and 9 at The Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. Presented by IKON Presents in partnership with Dr. Holly Carter, President and CEO of Relevé Entertainment, the residency marks a significant moment for gospel music, bringing three of the genre’s most influential artists together on one Las Vegas Strip stage for the opening weekend. Organizers say the October performances are just the beginning of an ongoing, multi-date residency, with additional artists and dates expected to be announced in the coming months.

The opening lineup brings together generations of gospel excellence. The Clark Sisters, widely recognized as the best-selling female gospel group in history, helped shape the sound of contemporary gospel through their signature harmonies and genre-blending style. Joining them is Fred Hammond, whose decades-long career and influence on praise and worship music have made him one of gospel’s most respected artists. Also taking the stage is Deitrick Haddon, known for blending gospel with R&B, soul, and hip-hop while reaching audiences across generations.

The residency is more than another stop on a tour. For many fans, it represents long-awaited recognition for a genre that has influenced everything from R&B to soul and hip-hop while often remaining outside the spotlight of mainstream entertainment venues like Las Vegas.

“Gospel has never had a true home on the Las Vegas Strip–until now,” said Neal Carter, spokesperson for IKON Presents. That vision came to life through a partnership with Dr. Carter, whose decades-long work in faith-based entertainment helped turn the idea into reality.

For years, I have envisioned bringing Gospel to Las Vegas on this scale,” Carter shared. “To now unite legendary artists in a groundbreaking residency is more than a milestone, it’s a moment.”

Few groups have transformed Gospel Music the way The Clark Sisters have. Their harmonies and innovative sound help redefine contemporary gospel, inspiring generations of musicians far beyond church walls. Joining them is Fred Hammond, whose urban praise and worship style reshaped modern gospel for millions of listeners, and Deitrick Haddon, an artist known for bridging gospel with R&B and hip hop to connect with younger audiences while staying rooted in faith.

At its heart, Legends of gospel: Vegas residency isn’t simply about bringing three celebrated performers to Las Vegas. It’s about recognizing the enduring IMPACT of gospel music and giving it a permanent place on one of the world’s most recognizable stages. For longtime gospel fans, it’s validation. For first-time listeners, it’s an invitation to experience a genre built on hope, resilience, and community.

Tickets for the opening weekend go on sale July 17 through GospelVegas.com. As plans for additional performances continue to unfold, Legends of Gospel: Vegas Residency is set to celebrate the music, faith, and artistry that have inspired listeners for generations
