This Chicago native is building a legacy of safe spaces and homeownership for the city’s Black and Brown families. Kyra Epps, alongside her comedian husband Mike Epps, recently hosted The Humanity Fundraiser Cocktail Mixer, celebrating their work with Habitat for Humanity Chicago. The event, filled with laughter from Chicago comedian Damon Williams and inspiring words from Mayor Brandon Johnson, served as a testament to Epps’ dedication to her community.
