5 Things I Want for Christmas — The ENSPIRE Edition

( ENSPIRE Feature ) Finding Clarity, Peace, and Self-Led Healing in a Difficult Season

Christmas Day looks different for everyone, and this year, it looks different for me. This has been a difficult year. One marked by change, loss, transition, and growth, I didn’t necessarily ask for but had to learn how to navigate, anyway. Family dynamics have shifted. Roles have changed. Some things feel unfamiliar, and with that has come a wave of new emotions—especially during a season that’s supposed to feel warm, joyful, and full.

This holiday season has required me to sit with feelings I’m still learning how to process, while continuing to show up as a founder, a creative, a leader, and a woman becoming more honest with herself. And in that reflection, I realized something important.

The things I want for Christmas this year don’t require anyone else to change. They don’t require agreement, apologies, or explanations. They’re not dependent on circumstances or outcomes. They are internal. Intentional. Personal.

These are the five things I’m choosing today—gifts I’m giving myself, and reflections I’m sharing with the ENSPIRE community in hopes that they resonate with where you are too.

1. Clarity Over Chaos

When life feels uncertain, clarity becomes sacred.

This year taught me that chaos doesn’t always come from doing too much—it often comes from holding onto things that no longer align. Expectations. Narratives. Roles we’ve outgrown. What I want for Christmas is clarity—not about everything, but about what matters most. About where my energy belongs. About what I can control, and what I need to release.

ENSPIRE Pillar: Mindset + Leadership

Reflection for Today:
Ask yourself:

  • What am I holding onto that’s creating unnecessary noise?
  • What would clarity look like if I allowed myself to be honest?

Clarity doesn’t require certainty. It requires courage.

2. Creative Energy Without Burnout

Creativity has carried me through this year—but so has learning when to rest.

There were moments when creating felt like survival, and others when it felt like pressure. This Christmas, I’m choosing to redefine productivity. I want creative energy that flows from alignment, not exhaustion. I’m learning that it’s okay to pause—even when ideas are waiting.

ENSPIRE Pillar: Creativity + Wellness

Reflection for Today:
Instead of asking “What should I be doing?”
Try asking “What do I need right now?”

Rest is not quitting. It’s recalibration.

3. Aligned Opportunities That Pay

This year reshaped how I think about value—my own included.

I’ve learned that saying yes out of fear or habit creates resentment. What I want now are opportunities that align with who I am becoming, not who I used to be. Opportunities that respect boundaries, honor experience, and compensate fairly. This isn’t about entitlement—it’s about sustainability.

ENSPIRE Pillar: Business + Career Development

Reflection for Today:
Consider:

  • Does this opportunity align with my values?
  • Does it support the life I’m trying to build?

Alignment should feel grounding, not draining.

4. Community That Feels Like Home

Family doesn’t always look the way we expect it to—and sometimes that realization is painful.

This year reminded me that community is not about proximity or obligation, but about care, consistency, and safety. About who shows up, listens, and supports without conditions. What I want for Christmas is a community that feels steady. Gentle. Real.

ENSPIRE Pillar: Community + Impact

Reflection for Today:

  • Who makes you feel seen without explanation?
  • Where do you feel safe being honest?

That’s where your energy belongs.

5. Peace in the Process

More than anything, I want peace.

Peace while navigating change. Peace while managing emotions, I’m still learning how to name. Peace while trusting that growth doesn’t always feel good—but it is still growth. Peace doesn’t mean everything is resolved. It means I stop fighting myself through it.

ENSPIRE Pillar: Purpose + Faith

Reflection for Today:
Let yourself believe that:

  • You’re allowed to grow quietly
  • Your timeline doesn’t need validation
  • Becoming takes time

Peace begins when we stop demanding perfection from ourselves.

Christmas Reflection

This Christmas, I’m not asking for things to be easier. I’m asking to be more grounded within myself. The gifts I want this year are not dependent on others changing, understanding, or agreeing. They are choices I’m making internally—ones I can carry with me long after the holiday lights come down.

If today feels heavy, quiet, complicated, or tender for you, know this:
You’re not doing it wrong. Sometimes the most meaningful Christmas gifts are the ones that help us become more whole.
