“Whose Side?” is an emotional song that can be understood in several ways. “Choosing whether to move forward in a relationship to make it work, choosing to embrace all layers and versions of a person and the common self vs. self battle, as we are the only ones who can hold ourselves back,” Solei explains. With her first song of 2021, the singer is setting the tone for what will undoubtedly be a banner year for the artists.
