The Vault, a membership community, established to fulfill the needs of the incarcerated and their families, was launched by Monalisa Johnson, CEO of Sierra Productions, host of Prisoner of Hope, and participant on A&E’s smash docu-series 60 Days In. The Vault is a complete streaming platform that provides content, resources, and tools intentionally designed to prepare those who have been incarcerated and support inmates and their loved ones during and after incarceration. In addition, the new platform brings an expansive selection of experts, including therapists, finance experts, criminal defense attorneys, social activists, and spiritual leaders, to help tackle the most critical issues families face when dealing with incarceration. Experts cover self-discovery, finance, mental and spiritual mindset, legal guidance, mental wellness, relationships, and post-incarceration life skills to help those affected.

“When my daughter was sentenced to 10 years in prison, I struggled to find resources to help us deal with our situation,” said Johnson, “I knew that I wanted to help others find the help that I was looking for and that the show, Prisoner of Hope, was only the first step. The Vault brings experts from different industries to one platform to help people in the privacy of their own homes.”

Johnson created The Vault to help the world realize that society places a stigma on those incarcerated and then places blame and shame upon the families. By using The Vault, members will connect with others impacted by incarceration to share experiences, find support, and build a community.

With the platform, the hope is that it builds awareness and overhauls the criminal justice system, policing practices, racial disparities in sentencing, and policies to fulfill the United States constitution’s promise of equality and justice for all.
