Trap Music Museum Project Manager Brittney Jarrett Neal says “As a team, of course, we knew we were going to celebrate Women’s History Month but we wanted to be sure to do it right! So highlighting women who work behind the scenes alongside the artists was our main focus. From there the “Honor Roll” came to life. Highlighting generations of label execs, stylists, engineers, producers, and of course the artists. This helped us creatively educate our audience on rap culture!”

Visitors can expect to see various pieces of artwork and photos of some of the most trailblazing women in music. TMM Art Curator Adlia H. Silvera believes that “It’s important for people to know the strides and contributions of women in Hip Hop. Our exhibition is a vivid timeline and representation of their journey from the beginning of hip hop to where we are now.“
