( ENSPIRE Entertainment ) Hottest Names In Industry Unite to Celebrate Hip-Hop Culture and Win Awards

Hip-Hop’s biggest night, the 2022 “BET Hip Hop Awards”, premiered its annual broadcast yesterday (Oct. 4th) at 9 PM ET/PT on BET. The annual celebration, taped from Cobb Energy Center in Atlanta, GA, on Friday (Sept. 30) brought together the hottest names in hip-hop to pay homage to the year’s best bops and brightest stars.
Iconic hip-hop performers French Montana, Joey Bada$$, Armani White, Bleu, Pusha T, N.O.R.E., EST Gee, GloRilla, and Moneybagg yo, joined forces with the likes of Armani White, Kodak Black, Lil Tjay, and Jeezy at the event in an all-star tribute to the iconic LOUD Records label and it’s pioneering founder, Steve Rifkind.
Additional performers who took the stage to honor the legendary label included David Banner, featuring Lil’ Flip, Dead Prez, Fat Joe, Mobb Deep with Lil’ Kim, M.O.P., Remy Ma, Three 6 Mafia, and Wu-Tang Clan. Fat Joe, the GRAMMY®-nominated recording artist, actor, entrepreneur, and media personality hosted the event.
While notably a night full of performances and celebration, the BET Hip Hop Awards are also intended to honor individual artists for their musical talents and achievements in 2022. Jazmine Sullivan and The Weeknd took home the ‘Best R&B/ Pop Artist’ awards (female/male) and Megan Thee Stallion and Kendrick Lamar secured the ‘Best Hip-Hop Artist” awards (female/male).
