Yung Wylin, also known as Mr. Good Energy, is a rising Afrobeat musician who focuses on spreading the message of positivity. He’s from South Miami and has been pursuing a music career his entire life, putting his heart and soul into the music he makes, one that promotes positivity and good energy. His most recent, and most well-known song, “Good Energy”, made it higher than 15 on the billboard charts, and has been incredibly popular on social media where his song is used and heard by millions.
“Good Energy” does not promote positivity exclusively through the lyrics, but also through the beat that makes listeners feel good. The beat is smooth, calming, and positive. Listeners feel his message of embracing love and living life to its fullest, making them feel like they’re on an island free from stress. He describes himself as a conscious rapper, one that creates uplifting and optimistic music.

What are the things you learned about the music industry that helped you grow in your career?
“One valuable lesson I’ve gained is the significance of mindful presence, strategically choosing where to invest my time. It’s not just about being present; it’s about discerning the right places that align with my goals and values while consciously avoiding those that stop my progress. This dual awareness empowers me to navigate life with intention, ensuring that my energy and focus are directed toward environments that foster growth and positive outcomes. What can you say about any upcoming projects that you’re working on?
“I just released my new single “ Do It Better” on February 10, 2024, and the response l am getting is very positive. I recently was invited to walk for the 2024 New York Fashion Week for renowned designer @shop.potro on Runaway 7. That was my first time and it was pretty cool. A lot of work is involved in preparing for these shows. I’m looking forward to doing it again.”
Yung Wylin is determined to step outside of the current boundaries of hip-hop and create change in music, using positivity and good vibes. He’s made giant leaps towards his goal, already creating a well-loved song that spreads good energy.
