On March 15, 2024, the chart-topping singer-songwriter VEDO released his new single, “SPINN ON YOU.” The Atlanta-based artist’s song is set to be a playlist favorite for R&B lovers worldwide, with VEDO’s sultry voice at the forefront of the single.
“SPINN ON YOU” begins with some soft guitar before VEDO’s smooth voice takes center stage at the beat drop. The title alludes to how the catchy chorus invites listeners to get lost in the intoxicating whirlwind of desire and passion throughout the song. VEDO’s falsetto is addicting, taking his audience on a journey with him in an artistic manner.
When asked about the inspiration behind the single, VEDO explained that “SPINN ON YOU” has several layers. “When I wrote the song it’s obvious that I’m thinking about spinning the block and wanting that old thing back,” he said. “My vision for the song isn’t just wanting to have one last encounter, but also Spinn the Block on your girl/wife, pull up to their job bring some flowers, lunch, etc, Spinn some time, Spinn some money on her. Spinn, even when you already have her/him, to always be in pursuit of one’s heart.”
VEDO also credits producer Doh Boy on the track. “Shout out to my Brother Doh Boy! He produced the track and from first listen the lyrics just came to me. We go way back and he’s been a part of some of my earlier music that my fans still love to this day,” the artist said.
This latest offering marks VEDO’s first single of 2024 and sets the stage for what promises to be a monumental year for the multi-talented artist.
