LosLauren 718 rising star from the Bronx is back and better than ever with his latest album ‘Success Is Not For The Lazy: More JABS’. The long-awaited album which features the fan-favorite tracks ‘The Appetizer 3’, ‘Lo Siento’, ‘ Birthday Cake’ & ‘Cancer’ is finally here after fans have been eagerly awaiting the project since his last album ‘JABS’ which was met with critical acclaim. The Bronx native who has been at this rap thing for over 2 decades has made a name for himself underground, but in the past few years, his talent has been recognized by ThisIs50, The Source, VIBE, All Hip Hop, Vlad TV, Hip Hop DX, & WorldStar Hip Hop.
The lyrical wordsmith has taken his craft to higher levels independently proves that sometimes your gift will make room for you without the help of any major machine behind you. Over the years the fearless emcee has traveled the world performing and shooting videos in New York City, Miami Beach, Orlando, Atlanta, Baltimore, Egypt, Cairo, Morocco, Nile River, and the Red Sea, Rio, Cancun and the Panama Canal. Now this has been done all on his dime which just shows you what hard work and determination can do when you truly believe and invest in yourself. With classic projects like ‘Allergic To Failure’ and ‘Blue Roses’ under his belt, inevitably, the LaGuardia HS (FAME) alumni was well on his way into the spotlight like some of his other former classmates Nicki Minaj and Michael Che.
Now when it was time to get back into the studio to work on this project, it was a no-brainer for him to team up with producers Serious Beats, DeeJay Quality, Asiah Dio AND Rashaad Kennedy, Fendi Pendergrass, Deyjan Beats, Sixx Digits, Yung Nab and Asiah Dio. Their collaborative sonically created a musical masterpiece for all lovers of Hip-Hop who are truly into the essence of rap. LosLauren 718 recently stopped by Bronx Net’s ‘OPEN’ to promote the album during his promo tour while back home in NYC and when I tell you his interview with guest host Jonathan Calixto was the perfect way to kick off his album release.
