ENSPIRE Contributor: Joaquin Fernandez
Finding Faith is a new religious film that was released in theaters on June 16 and 17. Black Bench Productions, Third Eye Productions, and Summer House Pictures produced it. Fathom Entertainment, a major theatrical distributor, collaborated to have the film hit theaters across the country.
The film tells a story about how a loving wife like Faith Mitchell, played by Paula Patton, can immediately crumble under the weight of an unforeseen tragedy. Faith starts to spiral out of control and gives in to drugs and alcohol to numb the ever-present pain. Her family, friends, and Pastor all offer to support her on the way to recovery. The promise she holds herself by is “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” Faith rebuilds her life with the help of loved ones and God.

Alongside Patton, the film’s cast stars Keith David, Demetrius Grosse, Loretta Devine, Stephen Bishop, and Nadine Velazquez. LazRael Lison produced it along with Tatiana Chekhova of Summer House Pictures, Charles F. Porter of Black Bench Productions, and Marlon D. Haynes as Executive Producer. Vaghn Alveraz of CR* Agency is the film’s publicist, with Michelle Duffie and Kelvis Clyde Duffie of D3 Entertainment.
